INDIANAPOLIS – Northern Kentucky University had 91 student-athletes named to the Horizon League Fall 2017 Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the League office on Friday.
NKU's 91 honor roll members helped set a department record 3.37 GPA in the Fall 2017 semester. Additionally, NKU had 30 student-athletes achieve a 4.0 GPA this past semester, and 178 student-athletes recorded at least a 3.0 GPA.
To be eligible for the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have participated in the most recent or current season of their sport, complete three semesters as a full-time student at the same institution, and have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20.
In total, 994 student-athletes from the Horizon League were recognized for the honor.
