Registration for girls' basketball camps, held by Northern Kentucky women's basketball head coach
Camryn Whitaker, is open for its three summer sessions. Coach Whitaker is offering a pair of individual camps as well as a team camp in mid-June 2017.
The first camp will be the Elite Camp on June 10 and will be held from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The Elite Camp is designed for players in grade 8-12 who aspire to play at the next level. Campers will participate in high intensity skill development necessary for the transition to the collegiate level. Cost of participation is $50 and includes an adidas t-shirt.
The High School Team Shootout will be a 12-hour team camp on June 16, running from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. for junior varsity and varsity teams. Each team will have a three-game guarantee, with games located in the BB&T Arena, Regents Hall and the NKU Campus Recreation Center. The camp is $200 per team of 10-players, and includes an adidas t-shirt for each camper. If more than 10 players are anticipated on a team, please notify NKU Director of Basketball Operations

The final individual camp is a three-day clinic on June 28-30, designed to help young basketball players in grades 3-8 develop and improve individual skills such as ball handling, shooting, passing and defense. An emphasis on teaching the fundamentals of the game in an energetic and fun environment will be the focus of the camp. Cost of participation is $165 and includes a t-shirt and camp ball.
