HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – As part of a partnership reached through Norse Sports Properties, a Learfield property, Dickmann's Sports Café will be the official Norse watch party location for Northern Kentucky University Athletics, including host of the NKU Basketball Coaches Show.
"Our great crowds for televised NKU Basketball games last year and our location made Dickmann's a natural fit! We're very excited to host the coaches show again and look forward to an awesome season and partnership with NKU," said Richard Dickmann, Owner.
A three-year partnership now exists for Dickmann's, located in Ft. Wright, Kentucky, to serve as the official Norse watch party location. In addition to the NKU Basketball Coaches Show, Dickmann's will be a place for Norse Nation to unite prior to and following all home games, as well as televised road games.
"I don't know that there's a better place in Northern Kentucky to watch sporting events," said Norse radio personality and NKU coaches show host Jim Kelch. "There's a TV everywhere you turn. With their great food and the new Norse Pale Ale, it makes for a great atmosphere. We're excited to be there weekly for the NKU Coaches Show this year."
Dickmann's will host a "tapping party" for Braxton's Norse Pale Ale this Saturday, Nov. 4, at the conclusion of Northern Kentucky's men's and women's basketball doubleheader exhibition games. Join Braxton Brewery and the Norse community after the game for this celebration.
Dickmann's will show Norse Athletic events that are broadcasted on television or the ESPN3 platform, including women's basketball, baseball, softball, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball on their screens.
Dickmann's Sports Café is celebrating it's 40
th year of being the Northern Kentucky community's number one sports bar and features more than 50 televisions to go along with a full-service bar and food. Dickmann's is a 21 years of age and older establishment.
