MASON, Ohio- The Northern Kentucky University men's cross country team placed second (67 points) out of 12 teams at the Queen City Invitational on Saturday.
Andrew Schille was the top Norse, taking third (two points) overall with a time of 18:39.40.
Brady Holmer followed Schille in 10
th (eight points) crossing the finish line at 18:53.00.
Ryan Burrows (20
th, 19:10.0, 17 points), Caleb Agustus (22
nd, 19:11.20, 19 points),
Izak Velasquez ( 24
th, 19:13.70, 21 points),
John Michael Griffith (26
th, 19:20.20, 23 points) and
Michael Mangus (29
th, 19:24.40, 26 points) rounded out NKU's top seven.
The 6,000m course at Kingswood Park included a field of 132 runners. Cincinnati won the race taking first with a score of 58 points. Indianapolis took third tallying 82 points.
