SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Northern Kentucky University men's tennis team fell by a 5-2 score to South Carolina Upstate in Atlantic Sun Conference play.
 
NKU's points came in singles play, with Pierce Kohls defeating Yvon Haessig, 6-4, 6-1, in the No. 3 flight, while Balint Zsidai took the No. 6 flight match against Jacob Darling, 6-1, 6-2.
 
Zsidai is now 10-9 in singles play this season.
 
NKU, now 3-14 overall and 0-6 in A-Sun play, heads to Johnson City, Tenn., to close out the conference weekend against East Tennessee State.
